Within an automated balance sheet analysis all existing and entered data are subjected to a variation of valuation methods, after a check for consistency. Historical analysis on a comparing base are implemented, as well as forecasting extrapolation of the balance sheets for periods.

Qualitative and quantitative factors for the rating can be mounted with weighted character.

The preliminary evaluation data are passed to a rating / scoring module, which is classifying the results according internal standards and requirements by law and controllership rules (Basel II, MaRisk). This module is also positioning the results following rating requirements.

Therefore, qualitative results of analysis are for credit allocation provided and a credit decision is enhanced by a risk limit-setting quality improvement. Security of revision is warranted.

The balance sheet analysis is not only available for rating / scoring and thus for credit allocation and risk adjustment but is also an integral component of the valuation of an investment.
